Originally opening in 1969, Charlotte, NC's, The Milestone has been a southern landmark for rock/punk/new wave/metal and various underground scenes, especially in the 80's and early to mid 90's. Now under new management by childhood patrons (since Oct. 04') the 'Stone is back in full swing showcasing local, regional, and national artists nightly. Steve Neurotic set foot inside this piece of punk rock history one night with a few friends and fell in love with the history contained within the graffiti and sticker plastered walls that adorn the inside and outside of the club. After meeting part owner Neal Harper, and the rest of the Milestone staff, he knew that the Milestone was "his type of place", run and patroned by "his type of people". In September 2006, he began photographing local models at the club. This will be an ongoing project.
