Steve Neurotic is a 31 year old Charlotte, North Carolina resident, who relocated there from New Jersey in October 2005. He was born in Princeton, NJ on June 3rd, 1977 and grew up in Hightstown, NJ. Prior to 2004 he only did light photography as a hobby. In January 2004, Steve was offered the chance to try something new. A friend of his asked him to shoot her set for the mega pinup site Suicide Girls. After several successful sets he became an Official Photographer for Suicide Girls. He has been quoted by many as being a natural and having a "unique eye". He is always pursuing freelance work and continues to take tasteful nude photos of women. Steve has also recently branched out into doing Alt Fashion photos for local punk, goth/fetish models including for dancers and performers of "Purgatory", the 2nd largest Fetish event in the U.S, held every other month, in Charlotte, NC.

Steve has been involved in punk music from an early age. As a young teenager he would go to as many local shows as possible, and offer assistance to help bands carry equiptment, and sell merchandise. From 1994-2000 Steve was the frontman of the now classic NJ Punk band "Shower With Goats". To this day their music is still being discovered by new fans and the band retains a cult like following. Steve has written for several established punk magazines, published his own zine, produced locals bands, tour managed bands, put on shows at local venues, housed and cooked for touring bands, and to this day continues to help unsigned bands wherever time allows.

In 1998 Steve was asked to run the Drive Thru Records booth on the entire US/Canadian 1998 Vans Warped Tour. He knew this was a one time shot to do something important, and decided to start Poppunk.Com prior to leaving on the tour. While running the booth for Drive-Thru, Steve distributed approx 100,000 flyers for Poppunk.Com, offering small, independent bands the chance to be recognized. The site immediately became popular and retained an average of between 2000 unique visitors per day between then and 2005. In early 2005. Steve decided to put the site on indefinite hiatus to dedicate more time to photography.

In 2001 Steve put together the now widely popular CD Compilation "Pop-Punk Fever" for Nice Guy Records. It was picked up by Best Buy, Virgin Megastores, and Target, nationwide. The sequal "Pop Punk Fever 2" was released in November 2004 and featured several Suicide Girls in the photos shot by Steve.

From 2002-2003 Steve was the VP of A&R and Co-Label Manager for Fastmusic Records.
